How prepared are you right now as you read this if something was to go wrong.
Flood, fire, earthquake, solar flare, financial collapse, or war.
If you had to rely on what you have at home to survive from today. How long do
you think you could go?

I reckon we would be good for food for at least 2 weeks and could probably stretch
it out to 1 month if we were frugal. That doesn't count slaughtering any of the sheep.

Water is not a problem got tanks. Not sure how long the generator would last with
the fuel we have. We could use the car fridge for refrigeration and all our cooking
is with gas, the two gas tanks would last a few years if only cooking.

Long term cooking and baking? I'm thinking of building some sort of outdoor oven. But I also need a gun.

If you look around you can find old wood stoves/oven for a good price.
I picked one up for heating in the shed for $50. It even has plumbing on
the back for heating water. It would certainly be used for more than heating the
shed if the SHTF.

Got the guns, but I would like some more and a Pizza oven. Would love to have a wood fired pizza oven out the back.
Great for cooking a lot of things, breads, pies, special cookies alien

went to order some fish for my dam today and the website for the hatchery was down.
Not sure if they have shut down or what. Wanted to order from somewhere close to
reduce courier time for the wee fisshies.

A compound bow would be handy, and some oranges I can make fire from. Dehydrators are very useful too. Luckily i'm married to a chef. She can turn a gum tree into a salad in next to no time.

I have a compound bow and the kids have one each as well. Very handy bits of gear once set up for you.
Very quiet, affective and the bullets are reusable. No licence needed. Well not yet anyway. Rolling Eyes
