Gold Pelican is an imposter

Apparently the member here called gold pelican is an imposter which poses a difficult conundrum.
Do we make a new rule to delete members who call themselves Gold Pelican?
Or can he just join and stand up for himself.
I say no more rules are needed

Is the role of "Imposter" a legitimate function of society? If so, then the fraudster must remain. If not, then obviously a law is required - however - who in society is willing to cast the first stone? Can we not all be accused of being imposters or fraudsters in some stages of our life? When we lie to our wives telling them how beautiful they are first thing in the morning, when we pat our children on the back after they fucked something up on the sporting field and say "Nice try".

And furthermore, an imposter fraudulently represents himself as another man, but in this case the imposter is imposting not a man, but a "username".

Naye I say, the imposter is free to live amongst us.

If I remember rightly RC's admission about the clip on pony tail involved going disco dancing - most likely with himself - I don't recall there being any proof that his methods were successful in achieving a port in which to dock his vessel for the evening.

Sometimes it's good to have stuff bent out of shape. Not cars though. We have 2 imposters on this forum, they do good work.
